Just a quick info that Diskcryptor keeps on working with the latest Windows 10 Upgrade (just upgraded 2 days ago). But make sure to decrypt your boot-disk before upgrading your previous Windows 10 to the newest one (as usual), because otherwise, the upgrade will fail after the first reboot. So just:

1) Decrypt boot-disk
2) Install Windows 10 upgrade
3) Re-encrypt boot-drive.

Cumulative updates can always be installed without any decryption, of course, this is just important if upgrading to a new major Windows 10 version.

'Boot-disk' means the partition, where C:\windows\ is located?

Not the initial system-reserved partition with boot loader?

Even decrypting did not help me to install Fall Creators Update.  I had to do a fresh install in the normal configuration that makes use of a UEFI bootloader.  Next I had to follow my good old tutorial to make Windows boot with its legacy-type bootloader instead.  After that was straightened out, I was able to apply system encryption to Windows 10.
